Size and Length
Model is 5'9 and wears size XS.
This top is designed to mimic your favorite oversized t-shirt, but with some added features. The fit is boxy and loose, but will drape nicely due to the woven fabric with the 'light as air' feel. The sleeves are 3/4 length (below the elbow) and get longer as you size up. There is an additional 2 inch hem on the sleeves if you need additional length.
The bottom of the top should sit below the hips, so if you lift up, it will not become a 'crop top'. The length will also allow for a belt to be worn with the top if you want to accentuate your curves. A two inch hem is located on the slightly dipped hemline of the top as well.
This top flips from front to back. There is a long length zipper featured on one side which can be unzipped/zipped based on your personal modest preferences. Unzip about an inch and tuck in the ends for a 'V' shaped neckline. It's also a great nursing friendly option! (if you like the zipper side in front, we suggest snipping out the label with a pair of nail scissors once you decide to keep this top).
Please keep in mind that the front and back of this top have the same shape neckline (so that it can be flipped around without riding up into your neck). As a result, the rounded neckline is slightly more open than an average top of this style and will also show more of your neck in the back.
As you size up, the 'drop sleeve' length increases as well as the width and length of the top. Overall, it is oversized/roomy/boxy, so you can size down if you don't mind the shorter sleeve length; Keep in mind the two inch hem in the sleeves is still an option if you need more coverage. Stay true to size for the intended 'look' of this style or if your shoulders/chest are broad. If size is prefaced by 'Small' it means you are narrower in shoulders/chest area.

LENGTH/ WIDTH GUIDE: Approx lengths for the RARITY TOP are taken from uppermost part of shoulder to the bottom hem. Double the width for complete circumference around the body. All measurements are taken when top is on a flat surface.
GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:
LENGTHS- Place a measuring tape at the center point of one of your shoulders where your neck curve meets your shoulder (Also known as HPS- High Point Shoulder). The '0' (zero) on the tape should be your starting point. Drop the tape and let it hang. It helps to look in a full length mirror to determine the length that suits you (If you prefer above, on or below the knee). For reference, average lengths (depending on your height) fall between 37-41inches on size XS. Since everyone's torso/leg lengths are different (even if two people are the same height), coverage length can never be exact. For all styles, we list the approximate lengths of our dresses measured from HPS. Please check the lengths to see if they work for you.
WIDTHS: Chest- Position the '0' (zero) of the measuring tape underneath one armpit aligning it as much as possible with the center part of your bust. Wrap around the circumference of your chest area until the tape matches point zero from the backside. Keep in mind that knits (stretchy styles) can accommodate widths that are broader than the listed dimensions due to fabric forgiveness, while wovens (fabric with minimal or no stretch) will only 'give' to a certain point. Usually, patterns are adjusted to work for sizing when the fabric is woven.
Hips- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start at the widest point of hips.
Arms- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start under armpit and measure around biceps.
