    Every mass marketed slip skirt I found was either;
    TOO SHORT (mid thigh, how does that help?!)
    TOO LACY (who wants that peeking through your sheer styles?!)..or
    FELT LIKE PAPER (sooooo crunchy!)
    Lining should feel like....SECOND SKIN!! So, I made the perfect slip skirt (in your favorite fabric from our beloved slip dress collection) at the perfect length without all the bells and whistles that you don't need right now.  Your slip skirt shouldn't distract, but should act..as the perfect layering/lining look for everything you wear!

     WHERE/ WHEN TO WEAR:
    1) When the bottom part of your garment is sheer, but you don't need a full body
    slip option.
    2) Under a long line cardigan or oversized top/sweater where you need 'extra inches' at the bottom for length purposes.
    3) Under ALL your outfits. This base layer will help smooth out your silhouette and keep you covered in the current season.

  • This slip skirt is perfect under all clothing.  It can also act as lining under sheer styles. The slip should be fitted/snug on the body when worn with as a layering piece. Fabric has stretch. If you are in between sizes on the chart and prefer some extra wiggle room, size up. Otherwise, stick to your true size.

    GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:

    LENGTHS- Place a measuring tape at the center point of one of your shoulders (Also known as HPS- High Point Shoulder). The '0' (zero) on the tape should be your starting point. Drop the tape and let it hang. It helps to look in a full length mirror to determine the length that suits you (If you prefer above, on or below the knee). For reference, average lengths (depending on your height) fall between 37-41inches on size XS. Since everyone's torso/leg lengths are different (even if two people are the same height), coverage length can never be exact. For all styles, we list the approximate lengths of our dresses measured from HPS. Please check the lengths to see if they work for you.

    WIDTHSChest- Position the '0' (zero) of the measuring tape underneath one armpit aligning it   as much as possible with the center part of your bust. Wrap around the circumference of your chest area until the tape matches point zero from the backside. Keep in mind that knits (stretchy styles) can accommodate widths that are broader than the listed dimensions due to fabric forgiveness, while wovens (fabric with minimal or no stretch) will only 'give' to a certain point. Usually, patterns are adjusted to work for sizing when the fabric is woven.

    HIPS- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start at the widest point of hips.

    ARMS- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start under armpit and measure around biceps. For arm length, measurements on the caftan are taken from the HPS (where the shoulder meets the neckline) down to the end of the sleeve.

    Spot treat if necessary. Hand wash (or machine wash in delicate cycle at your own discretion) cold. Air dry.

    -WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    We will gladly accept returns on all items that have not been altered, worn (showing signs of stains/makeup/snags from jewelry/ scents from perfume or body odor), washed or damaged by the customer within 14 Days of receiving your purchase (based on tracking info). If you received your order by mail, simply return the item(s) at your own expense and your order will be refunded. 

    If items are returned with any signs of alteration, wear, washing or damage, OR it is missing part of the full garment (i.e. BELT that comes with the dress style or brand hangtag) the item(s) will be returned to the customer at their own shipping expense. We will first contact the customer to let them know that their return does not meet our qualifications (if item shows signs of wear,  missing components of product, or is damaged in any way by the customer, we send an explanation of the issue + images via text/email provided on the order by the customer).

    Once the customer is aware that we can not process the return, they have the option to have it sent back (at their expense) to them or allow us to donate the 'damaged' item. (they will not receive a refund as we can no longer put this item back in stock on site). If they choose to have their item/s returned, we will need to send an invoice for the return shipping fee. Once paid, the return will be shipped back to the customer. 

    We reserve the right to place a 10-25% restocking fee on any returned merchandise that does not meet our return qualifications based on specific return circumstances. The customer will be notified if this is the case and the percentage deducted based on the individual situation.

    -WHAT IF THE WRONG ITEM IS SENT OR HAS A DEFECT?

    We apologize if we accidentally send you the wrong item. We have a 3 step process to ensure that the order gets to the correct destination, but on rare occasions mistakes are possible. Please notify us immediately upon receiving your order to let us know about the mixup. Please include a note with the name,email used at the time of your order and mention of the error so we can process it correctly. We will reimburse your original shipping fee once returned and will immediately send out the correct item to you.

    If you received an item that was damaged in any way, please let us know immediately. Quality control is important to us and we want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Contact us via phone or email if you have any additional questions. 

    -CAN I MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

    Unfortunately, we can not process exchanges through our site. You can reorder the item you choose (at any time) in the size/color of your preference based on stock availability on this site. You may return your orginal order (at your own expense within the return time frame) and will be refunded once it has been received.

    -HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?

    Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. We are unable to offer return shipping labels at this time.
    Your order came with a return form, but if you can not locate it, please leave a note inside your return with the following info:
    NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER used at time of order.
    In addition, please mention if your purchase was made via:
