    LET'S STRETCH-  The tight metal coils that make up this belt have a lot of 'give' to them and can also give you a waistline no matter your size. If your waistline is smaller than the circumference of this belt, it's easily adjustable in a matter of moments (which is just enough time to 'BELT IT OUT').

  • This belt is approximately 28.5 inches in length from end to end. 
    This belt will fit most customers up to size 18/20 depending where it sits on the waistline. It may sit higher above the narrowest part of the waist on a size L-XXL and may sit lower on the waist of a customer who is size XS or under. 
    We do not suggest wearing this belt in direct contact with your skin as the coils may tug on some baby hairs on your body when it is settling at the waistline. Wear over fabric. Avoid wearing with fabrics that you are worried it may snag on.

    MEASURING YOUR WAISTLINE:
    Using a soft measuring tape, use the front center of your waist (or wherever you want to place the belt) as the starting point. Wrap the measuring tape around your body until it meets back up with the original starting point. Check the number in inches. That is your circumference. If you do not have a soft measuring tape, you can use a string to measure and make a mark where it meets up. Lay the string on a flat surface, and use a ruler to complete the measurement. Keep in mind that the belt is stretchy and can go wider than the initial belt measurements.

    ADJUSTING THE BELT FOR SMALLER WAISTLINES: Done at your own discretion.
    1) A shoe repair service can make this adjustment if you choose to forego doing it yourself. Use the measuring process in #2 as a guide for the repair worker.
    OR...
    2)Wrap the belt around you as if you are about to clasp it. Make a note of where the bar overlaps with the area where the clasp should hook in. This amount is the 'excess' coil you will need to get rid of.  Using a pair of cuticle scissors or needlenose pliers (must be sharp and narrow), grab the ends of the clasp (that's the smaller side with the slot for the hook) and wedge the two sides open. Remove the clasp and set aside in a safe spot. Review the amount of 'excess' coil just to be safe and take the measurement with a ruler. Pull the excess amount away from the main belt with the cuticle scissors. Pinch the coil at the area you wish to remove and give the cuticle scissors a few good twists. This may take a couple of tries depending on the sharpness of your tool. You may also need to bend it back and forth to help it 'crack' away from the main belt. Once you are satisfied, replace the clasp to the new end of your belt and fold the ends of the clasp back over the coils.

    LINEAR BY RACHEL RISS, INC IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR WHAT HAPPENS TO YOUR PACKAGE ONCE THE TRACKING SERVICE REGISTERS THAT IT HAS REACHED YOUR DOORSTEP.

    PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS CORRECT ON YOUR ORDER BEFORE CLICKING 'COMPLETE PURCHASE'. WE SHIP BASED ON THE ADDRESSES PROVIDED AND CAN NOT MAKE CHANGES ONCE THE ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED OUT. IF THE ORDER IS RETURNED TO US DUE TO 'INSUFFICIENT ADDRESS INFORMATION' (address was incorrect, did not exist or did not provide full info such as apartment number ect...) IT IS THE CUSTOMER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO PAY FOR A SECOND SHIPPING LABEL (as the first one generated when the order was initially shipped was already paid for, and it is not LINEAR BY RACHEL RISS, INC's  responsibility to pay for a second label based on the customer's error.)

    -WHAT IS YOUR RETURN POLICY?

    We will gladly accept returns on all items that have not been altered, worn (showing signs of stains/makeup/snags from jewelry/ scents from perfume or body odor), washed or damaged by the customer within 14 Days of receiving your purchase (based on tracking info). If you received your order by mail, simply return the item(s) at your own expense and your order will be refunded. 

    If items are returned with any signs of alteration, wear, washing or damage, OR it is missing part of the full garment (i.e. BELT that comes with the dress style or brand hangtag) the item(s) will be returned to the customer at their own shipping expense. We will first contact the customer to let them know that their return does not meet our qualifications (if item shows signs of wear,  missing components of product, or is damaged in any way by the customer, we send an explanation of the issue + images via text/email provided on the order by the customer).

    Once the customer is aware that we can not process the return, they have the option to have it sent back (at their expense) to them or allow us to donate the 'damaged' item. (they will not receive a refund as we can no longer put this item back in stock on site). If they choose to have their item/s returned, we will need to send an invoice for the return shipping fee. Once paid, the return will be shipped back to the customer. 

    We reserve the right to place a 10-25% restocking fee on any returned merchandise that does not meet our return qualifications based on specific return circumstances. The customer will be notified if this is the case and the percentage deducted based on the individual situation.

    -WHAT IF THE WRONG ITEM IS SENT OR HAS A DEFECT?

    We apologize if we accidentally send you the wrong item. We have a 3 step process to ensure that the order gets to the correct destination, but on rare occasions mistakes are possible. Please notify us immediately upon receiving your order to let us know about the mixup. Please include a note with the name,email used at the time of your order and mention of the error so we can process it correctly. We will reimburse your original shipping fee once returned and will immediately send out the correct item to you.

    If you received an item that was damaged in any way, please let us know immediately. Quality control is important to us and we want to make sure you are happy with your purchase. Contact us via phone or email if you have any additional questions. 

    -CAN I MAKE AN EXCHANGE?

    Unfortunately, we can not process exchanges through our site. You can reorder the item you choose (at any time) in the size/color of your preference based on stock availability on this site. You may return your orginal order (at your own expense within the return time frame) and will be refunded once it has been received.

    -HOW DO I RETURN MY ORDER?

    Please note that the customer is responsible for return shipping fees. We are unable to offer return shipping labels at this time.
    Your order came with a return form, but if you can not locate it, please leave a note inside your return with the following info:
    NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS, and PHONE NUMBER used at time of order.
    In addition, please mention if your purchase was made via:
    WEBSITE, PHONE, or SALE EVENT so we can process it accordingly.
