The linear WAVE has a straight silhouette for the body of the dress. The oversized sash-style ruffle drapes from left shoulder down to right side of body above the hip. This ruffle covers the stomach and back area. It's a great style for those looking to conceal middle to lower body areas- (a great maternity option too!)  Belt over the ruffle at the center of your waist to show off your figure. May we suggest the #linearLINK or #Aviv belt options? :)
If you own one of the previous iterations of the WAVE dress, this one is slightly different. While the overall concept is the same, the fit will feel different as the original ones were KNIT (stretchy) fabric, and this version is WOVEN (does not have much stretch). As a result, the sleeves are running a bit narrower. If you are broader in your arms, we would definitely suggest sizing up. Most customers who have tried this garment on in person said they were able to fit into their standard size, but it was a bit narrower to get on. Once it was on the body, they felt comfortable. However, many chose to size up for better ease of movement. So, since this version is running a bit slimmer than the previous ones, size up if you want more wiggle room.
VERY IMPORTANT PSA REGARDING TRYING ON:
This dress has a lot of fabric! There is a base dress underneath with a large ruffle surrounding most of the garment. It can be tricky finding the arm/neck holes when trying it on. We strongly advise taking off excess jewelry and head coverings before trying this on. If you are wearing makeup, PLEASE use the enclosed disposable makeup face cover to sheild your face from getting any makeup on the neckline of this dress. When taking off the dress, first lift the dress above you waist, remove arms from sleeves and look up as you pull the neckline away from your face (this is the time most makeup stains would occur as there is a lot of fabric to remove simultaneously.)Any dress returned with makeup/stains or snags will be sent back to the customer and will automatically void any refund.
Remember, this garment is machine washable (see details in Composition and Care tab), so if you are keeping this beautiful dress, those makeup stains should come out :)

SIZE GUIDE:If the size is prefaced with the word 'SMALL', then it means you are narrower on bottom. If your size number overlaps, opt for the next size up for some extra wiggle room.

LENGTH/WIDTH GUIDE: Approximate lengths from shoulder to front hem at its shortest point. All measurements are taken when dress is on a flat surface. Approximate chest/hips measurements are measured across. Double for complete circumference. 

GUIDE TO FINDING YOUR MEASUREMENTS:

LENGTHS- Place a measuring tape at the center point of one of your shoulders (Also known as HPS- High Point Shoulder). The '0' (zero) on the tape should be your starting point. Drop the tape and let it hang. It helps to look in a full length mirror to determine the length that suits you (If you prefer above, on or below the knee). For reference, average lengths (depending on your height) fall between 37-41inches on size XS. Since everyone's torso/leg lengths are different (even if two people are the same height), coverage length can never be exact. For all styles, we list the approximate lengths of our dresses measured from HPS. Please check the lengths to see if they work for you.

WIDTHS: Chest- Position the '0' (zero) of the measuring tape underneath one armpit aligning it      as much as possible with the center part of your bust. Wrap around the circumference of your chest area until the tape matches point zero from the backside. Keep in mind that knits (stretchy styles) can accommodate widths that are broader than the listed dimensions due to fabric forgiveness, while wovens (fabric with minimal or no stretch) will only 'give' to a certain point. Usually, patterns are adjusted to work for sizing when the fabric is woven.

 Hips- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start at the widest point of hips.

Arms- Repeat steps for measuring Chest, but start under armpit and measure around biceps.

100% Poly Air Flow

This fabric is WOVEN (no stretch) and is light and airy. It is the same fabric used in our DUO dress from Fall 2021. It drapes like a light silk, buy has a bit more of a crepe texture to the touch.

RETURNS

You will have 14 DAYS from when you received your order (based on tracking info) to make a return. Any returns recieved after that date will be sent back to the customer at the customer's expense.

We will gladly accept returns on all items that have not been altered, worn, damaged or washed. If you received your order by mail, simply return the item(s) at your own expense and your order will be refunded.
